My memories of Mike are from our childhood. His birthday was 3 days before mine and I remember once when we celebrated together. We didn´t keep in touch after my Dad died and I joined the Army. My sympathies and prayers to his family and friends.

I wish I’d known Mike more as an adult. My memories were as children when we cousins would get together. I am a couple of years older than Mike, but I remember us celebrating our birthdays together a few times since my birthday is on November 9 and his November 6. I also recall he and I were both in the service at around the same time. I was in the Army, he in the Marines. I stayed stateside and didn’t have to serve in Viet Nam but was proud of all who did. My prayers to Jean and all of Mike’s family. I was proud to be his cousin.

Rest in peace Uncle Mike. I always remember the shirt you got me when you were going to Vietnam. I was about 5 at the time. The shirt said my uncle is a Marine. I also remember you standing by my side while at my fathers funeral. You were supportive and understanding of my loss. You will be missed my friend. Galen Buckner

Mike and I were Agents in Frank Robinson's district for several years and we were proud to know Mike and Jean Ann. New Orleans always brought back some good memories of Mike and Jean Ann.

Ran into Mike a few times as I was the agent in Iowa Park. Was with army artillery in VN in 1969-70. Something about that shared experience. Never get over it. Bless your memories.
