Robert Grodey Obituary
Abilene - Robert E. Grodey, 90, of Abilene, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021. He was born on November 24, 1930 in Galien, Michigan to Frank and Irene (Babcock) Grodey.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 27, 2021 at St. James United Methodist Church with Pastor Dot Lea officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
Robert was preceded by his parents, Frank and Irene Grodey, wife, Joan Mae Grodey in 2020 and one son, Bruce Grodey in 2018.
Robert is survived by his son, Paul Grodey and wife Kathy; son, David Grodey; daughter, Roberta Stake and husband Morgan; daughter-in-law, sally Grodey; and six grandchildren, Paul Joe, April, Jason, Robert, Victoria and Alexander; numerous great grandchildren.
