Thelma Holliman Obituary
Thelma "Meme" Holliman passed away peacefully at age 94 on May 4th.
She was born September 23, 1926 and graduated from Quanah High School in 1944. Meme married Loyd "Speck" Holliman in 1947 and had three children.
Meme and Speck lived in Dalhart, Amarillo, and also spent time in Colorado. She enjoyed working in retail sales and did so into her 70s. In 2003 they moved to Abilene to live near their daughter Billie. In Abilene, Meme was a member of Elm Creek Baptist Church. Speck passed away in 2007 and her daughter Billie passed away in 2019. Shortly afterwards Meme moved to Medford Oregon to be closer to her granddaughter.
Meme is survived by son Loyd Holliman (wife-Desiree), daughter Debbie Blake (husband-Terry), granddaughter Heather Welburn (husband-Craig) and great-grandchildren Sydney and Murray.
The family plans on having a small service next year at Abilene's Elmwood Memorial Cemetery where Meme will be laid to rest alongside her late husband and daughter.

I had the privilege of doing Thelmas hair for a few years when they lived in Amarillo, she was an absolute treasure so fun and full of life. So very sorry for your loss.
