I recently went back to Abilene and stories of Tom Morgan came to mind. He was a gentle soul who I respected so much. I still miss his phone calls and endless right-of-way stories. I´ll never forget him and the kindness he showed me. I miss his friendship.

Tom Morgan has held a special place in my heart from the day we met. He welcomed me into the Right-of-Way family in 1978 and helped me learn so much about the business. This man never knew a stranger and seemed to have endless stories of his "adventures" as a right-of-way agent. We talked almost every morning for 20 years about pipeline projects and joked about the GD lines and of him being the MD King. When my sister moved to Abilene, he met my family and they became instant friends. We kept in touch by phone for many years after retirement and I treasured every conversation. He was a blessing in my life . . . I will continue to miss him and the friendship we shared.

Tom was a great friend from the first time I met him in 1973. If you ever needed someone to pick you up Tom was the one to do it. He would lift your spirits even if you didn’t know you needed it. All of us who were fortunate to know him have lost a special person. Hope heaven is ready to take him in.
