BARBARA MEYER Barbara Meyer, 77 of Louisburg, Kansas, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025, at her home in Louisburg. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Louisburg Cemetery, Louisburg, Kansas. Services under the direction of Mullinax Funeral Home, Drexel Chapel (816-657-4400). Meyer was born on October 23, 1948, in Osawatomie, Kansas, the daughter of Perry and Eleanor Martin Richardson. She grew up in Miami County and graduated from Louisburg High School in 1967. Following graduation, she was united in marriage to John Meyer, and two sons were born to this union, Richard and Bruce. For many years, Barbara was an active member of the Order of Eastern Star and the American Legion and Auxiliary. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Eleanor Richardson, her husband John Meyer, her brothers John, Jim, and William Richardson, and her grandson Brayden Meyer. She is survived by her sons, Rich and Bruce Meyer, grandchildren, Kierra Meyer, Travis Meyer, Brycen Meyer, Keanna Meyer, along with great-grandchildren, Traci Meyer and Stetson Schneider, and several brothers and sisters.
