My sympathies to the Foster family. No student at NFHS will ever forget "Joe-Joe" and lessons he taught in Algebra or on the field as a coach. God Bless and comfort.

Dear Donna and Fabulous Family,
Coach is among the most influential men in my life. I cringe to think of living without the good things he helped to instill in me. He is, and always will be considered a blessing to more individuals than you can imagine.
Vicki and I pray for peace and joy as you think about the great life he lived,

Dear Foster Family,
The legacy that Mr. Foster left behind honors him and your family. I've told my own children many times that Mr. Foster was the teacher that had the greatest impact on my life, and that I hope they are lucky enough to have one that means as much to them. May the Lord bless and comfort each of you. He will be missed.

Joe was truly a "Giant of a Man". His spirit touched us deeply. His example was of great worth to us and our Heavenly Father. We know he loved the Lord and lived a Christ Like Life. May God bless and comfort you at this time of your sorrow.

Dear Foster Family,
We were so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was without a doubt one of the best teachers NF has ever had...and even managed to teach my brothers something. I will never forget the day in Physics class that he leaned back in his chair so far (with his hands on his head) that he tipped over! We recently lost our dad, too, so we understand how you are feeling. May you find comfort in your memories.

It’s no secret that the Coach’s arrival at Ashton had a profound influence on the lives of many. Anticipation of attending the required Earth Science class taught by Coach Foster was, for many including myself, reason to lose sleep. Not long after that first exam, certain of us were required to attend a special meeting with Coach Foster. Thankfully, that special session altered my value system, gave me a new appreciation for the learning process, and ultimately released my personal empowerment needed to succeed in life. And I would never disappoint the Coach thereafter. He will certainly be missed by the many who so deeply loved him. My thoughts and prayers are with Donna and the Foster Family at this difficult time.

Dear Donna and Family: We were so sad to hear of Joe's passing. Even though we understand his physical situation we know the family will miss him more than words can tell. We have always admired Joe in everything he has done and have enjoyed serving with him in the church. We send our love and sympathy. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
