In the early morning hours of June 10th, 2021, Ann Michele Blake Bauer passed peacefully from this life into the arms of her Heavenly Father. As during her life, Michele was surrounded by her husband and children who have been her ever-present caretakers, especially over the past eleven years. Goodbyes were said through tears of sorrow mixed with the gratitude and peace that comes from seeing a loved one freed from pain and suffering.

Ann Michele Blake was born March 17, 1943 in St. Anthony, Id., the first of six children born to James Blaine and Mary Doris Tibbitts Blake. In Michele's earliest childhood years she lived in the Hunter homestead home in Heman, Idaho. Later Michele's family moved to another farm in Plano, Idaho where she attended the Edmunds School until she was twelve years old when the family moved to St. Anthony, Idaho. Having been raised on a farm, Michele knew the value of hard work and the expectation of individual responsibility. She kept that independence and work ethic seriously her entire life as she tackled any job and saw it through to perfection.

Michele graduated from South Fremont High School and for a short time attended Utah State University. She returned home to do office work for her Grandfather's potato warehouse business "B.M. Tibbitts and Sons." Fortunately, Michele also worked part time at Bingham's A & W Drive In and it was here that a customer by the name of Bob Bauer pursued her friendship. Bobby Lynn Bauer and Michele were married September 7, 1963. Bob and Michele continued to live in St. Anthony where they eventually owned Bauer Motor Company where Michele worked as an office manager. Michele also worked part time for many years at Chiz's Café.

Bob and Michele are the parents of four wonderful children.

She is survived by her husband Bob; children, Blake (Amber) Bauer; Julianne (Vance) Dalley; and Lizbeth Ann (Jeremy) Banta; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren all of St. Anthony, ID. She is also survived by sisters, Suzane Morton of Afton, WY; and Marianna (Red) Taylor of Rexburg, ID; brothers, Jim (Zenda) Blake of St. Anthony, ID; Nick (Michelle) Blake of Mesa, AZ; and Mitch (Lauralie) Blake of Alta, WY. She was preceded in death by her daughter Chey Bauer, a grandson, Hadley Bauer; her parents and a brother-in-law Tom Morton.

Bob and his family would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to Hospice and also the staff at Briarwood Assisted Living Home for all of the compassionate and loving care you provided Michele.

Family services were held on June 12, 2021 at the Wilford Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
