Theron Potter Obituary

Theron Ray passed away on March 18,2025 in Spokane, WA. He was born to Fred and Glida Potter, St. Anthony ,ID in November 1941, the youngest of five children. Theron graduated from South Fremont High School and proudly served in The US Navy aboard the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier in the South Pacific. He followed up with service in the Idaho Army National Guard and finally in the WA State Naval Reserve CBs in Spokane. He worked in aviation, construction and in later years at Washington State University where he retired with 17 years of service. He was married in Seattle, WA to his life love Gail Zeller and they celebrated 57 years together. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and survived by daughters Kerri (Emmitt) Schoolcraft, Spokane, Meagen (Jeff) Erickson, Abilene, TX and his grandchildren Zachery Erickson, USAF , Christian Erickson, St. Louis, MO, Joshua Schoolcraft, USAF and wife Becky Scghoolcraft. He also leaves many much loved nieces and nephews and friends literally across the US.

Theron Ray was interred in the Colubarium at the WA State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, WA with full military honors in September. The family wishes to thank the many family members and friends who have supported them through this time in his loss.
