Gracieuse Aurelie Esnoz, 92, died in her home on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 in Reno, Nevada. She was born December 26, 1924 to Raymond and Pascaline Zubillaga in Les Aldudes, France, one of eleven children. She, along with her siblings (Anita and Joseph) owned the Santa Fe Basque Restaurant, in Reno, Nevada. She had a grand passion for reading as is exemplified in her immense library and she loved her flower garden, especially the dahlias and roses!

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Alfonso Esnoz, and her parents along with several siblings, Pierre, Jean, Edouard, Joset, Joseph, Marcelle, and Magee; and a niece Marie Christine. She is survived by her son, Mark Esnoz of West Linn, Oregon; daughter Laurie Anne Grimes (Ken) of Reno; grandchildren Joey, Jarod, Jade, and Rachel; Sisters, Anita and Maite; one brother, Albert and several nieces and nephews.

Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 6th, 2017 at St. Thomas Aquinas Cathedral with an interment immediately following at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers and in Aurelie's memory, and the many meals she prepared at the Santa Fe, the family asks that you please make donations in their Mother's name, Aurelie Esnoz to the St. Thomas Aquinas Cathedral and Food Pantry
