Beloved son of Jody James and Constance Diane Tedesco of Chantilly, Virginia died suddenly May 6, 2015 in Bessemer, Alabama. Byron's death was unexpected and the result of an intracranial aneurysm - he was 32 years old and was born in Longmont, Colorado on March 1, 1983. Byron attended St. John the Baptist School in Longmont, the Singapore American School and Erie High School in Erie, Colorado. He later attended the University of Massachusetts at both the Boston and Amherst campuses earning a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology, also studying diverse topics in history and the sciences such as linguistics. Byron had a tremendous passion for learning and mastered a broad array of subjects. Byron's last position was a Human Resources Specialist for a local Chantilly, Virginia defense contractor before moving to the family's ranch in Calpine, California. His passions included weight lifting, cooking, shooting including black powder, Civil War studies and a recent enjoyment of western riding. Above all Byron loved his dogs Marty and Scrappy and his family. Besides his parents, Byron is survived by grandparents James F. Tedesco of Longmont, Colorado; Dennis and Juanita Boldt of Mankato, Minnesota; brother and sister-in-law Matthew and Jan Tedesco of Helena, Montana; sister and brother-in-law Amie Tedesco and Antonio Tovar of Longmont, Colorado; and sister and brother-in-law Helen R. and Todd Edwards of Sierraville, California. Survivors also include many wonderful Aunts and Uncles and eight incredible nieces and nephews. Byron may best be remembered for his devotion to help anyone in need and aggressively fighting bigotry and injustice wherever it appeared. He is sorely missed by his entire family and many friends and is someone we are all very proud to have had in our lives.

A Mass will be held in Byron's honor at the Loyalton Catholic Church on Saturday, May 16 at 11:00 am in Loyalton, California with Internment to follow at 12:30 pm at the Sierraville Cemetery, Sierraville, California.
