David Taylor Obituary

David Allen Taylor was born on September 14, 1934 and passed away in the early hours of October 20, 2013 at his home because of cardiac arrest. David was born in Cleveland Ohio of Russel Taylor and Nancy Kwast. He graduated high school at West High School in Cleveland. Later, he enlisted and served with the U.S. Marine Corps during 1952 to 1960.
Following that, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Education at Kent State University. He taught high school in 1962-64. Furthermore, he went into business as a corporation field representative (1967-71). Then he migrated to Australia (1971-74) and managed business for Australia Company. David returned to the U.S. and became active in real estate sales. Later on, he joined the Peace Corps in 1982 and spent three years in the Philippines, Visayas Island where he met the love of his life Annette Aseniero. They were married for 29 years and resided in Reno.
David had a wide variety of interests to include motorcycle riding with his friends, target shooting, writing, and reading tons of books. He liked to unwind at the end of the day by having rum and coke and smoking a cigar. David is survived by his beloved wife Annette, his two sisters Joan Saunders, Barbara Malbasa, his children Caryl, Brad, David Darrow, and Connie, his grandchildren Anecia and Dean, finally, his great grandchildren Ava and Lily.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on November 2, 2013 at the clubhouse of Lockwood. 500 Ave de la Blanc Sparks, NV 89434.
