Ed Cordisco passed away peacefully in the presence & love of family and friends in Carson City. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jenny (Seljan) Cordisco; his daughter, Christina (Tom) DeVries; his son's, Anthony Cordisco, Michael (Suzy) Cordisco & Edward Cordisco, Jr; his grandchildren, Johanna & Nicholas, Zachary & Alexander, Jenna, Jonathan & Kate.

Ed's deep faith helped to serve many ministries at St. Teresa Church & in the community. He enjoyed Marriage Encounter, mentoring youth & playing Santa Claus. He had a great sense of humor, loved giving flowers, cooking, traveling, special visits to his children, painting & entertaining.

Ed was full of life and love, and gave his enormous caring heart to everyone around him. He will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him.

A celebration of Ed's love for life will be held at 6pm Saturday August 22, 2015 at St Teresa of Avila Church, 3000 North Lompa Lane, Carson City, Nevada, with a reception in Chartz Hall.

Donations may be made in Ed's memory to St Teresa of Avila Church.

Jenny, My heart goes out to you and your family. I really enjoyed the times that Ed would come see me at PERS. I still have the kitty and flowers that he gave me for my new table in my office. Dear Cordiscos,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We have such fond memories of Ed having been blessed to have known him beginning in the late 1960s. He was such a wonderful Santa to all the children, they were all so thrilled to see him pop in on Christmas Eve. As the years went by he was a great friend to all of us.
