Elaine Eustance Gatterman

Reno - Elaine Eustance Gatterman passed away in Reno, Nevada on June 7, 2021. She was born in Great Falls, Montana on April 20, 1946. She attended schools in Great Falls, graduating from Great Falls High School in 1964 and from the College of Great Falls (now the University of Providence) in 1968. She then moved to California to begin a teaching position in Chowchilla. She later moved to San Jose, California and worked in accounting and the insurance industry. She met her future husband, David Gatterman, while she was working in Sunnyvale, California. They were married in 1977.They lived in several cities before retiring to Reno, Nevada in 2004.

Elaine enjoyed playing bridge with the Senior Center group in Reno and participating in Spanish language groups. She volunteered many hours with a Reno animal shelter.

Elaine is survived by her husband David Gatterman of Reno, brothers Ronald Eustance (Marilynn) of Great Falls, Montana, Russ Eustance of Great Falls and sisters Lorraine Glick (William) of San Jose, California and Lori Aklestad of Great Falls, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Liliayn Eustance and sisters Ellen Cohen and Eileen Wiseman.

Services and Interment will take place in Elaine's home town of Great Falls, MT.
