Nancy, Craig, Kelly, Dean and Allen,
It was great to see you all and celebrate the impressive life of your dad, my uncle. He's truly an example of strength in every sense of the word. I feel privileged to have known your dad and to be part of your family. You are all carrying your father's legacy well and I know he's proud of you!

I came close twice to meeting Floyd - once in San Diego when he was with the Lions and once in Oakland when he was with the Vikings. I enjoyed following his careers - both as a player and as a coach ever since my Dad told me we were related. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Nancy,
Thinking of you in your time of sorrow. Death is never easy, but somehow makes us survivors a little stronger. Missing and thinking of you. Please call anytime.
