Jim married my mother back in 1984 long after I had moved out on my own. It took very little time to realize that he was not just my mothers new husband but a a man that my wife Cindy and I were honored to have as a father figure. It was a joy to witness the special relationship he shared with my younger sister Nicole. They were quite a pair. Our son was born in 2003 and Jim drove thru the night in order to meet his new grandson Kobe. He could not have been prouder of any child. Kobe and his "Big Papi " loved each other very much and he will be dearly missed.. RIP Big Papi. WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU..

I met Jim at the Tracy Clark Plant. We were working on the top of HERSG #8. My working buddy out of 401 introduced us. Jim was always fun to talk to and never failed to say "Good Morning" with a smile. Although I didn't know him long, I will miss him as an IBEW brother. My sincere thoughts go out to his family.

I remember the first time that I met Jim. The first thing that popped in my head was the name Pippy. He had thought this was kind of strange; however that is the name that I called him through the years. This was the name that I called him from then on. He was always there for me and I loved him dearly. He was the father figure that I always wanted. I may have been a step-daughter, but he treated me like I was his own. We always had a humor between both of us that we could only have. His favorite saying to me was " I miss you like a dose." I will always love him and know that he will be with me always. I Love You Pippy!!!!!!

I met Jim a couple of years ago, he did alot of work for me at Sierra Pacific. He was such a nice, nice man. He would work in my office very quietly, I would put this one CD in "Country Legends", and he would
either hum or sing-a-long. He enjoyed his work and did a great job...He was a professional in every way. He talked about the electrical apprenticeship program and his family. When he would be working away, I'd put that CD in and leave it playing when I left. He reminded me of my uncles. I feel honored to have known him......My sympathy and prayers go out to his family.
