WALTERS LYONS
Our beloved mother Janice Walters Lyons (Jannie) met Jesus January 24, 2010. Jannie was born in Reno to Edgar and Mablel Walters. She was a second generation Nevadan. She is survived by her sister Gayle Carpinella and two daughters, Tiffney Childs and Kandy Lyons Munoz, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a niece, nephew and a very large extended family.
Jannie was a beautiful women, wonderful mother, great friend, pet lover and one heck of a fighter. She battled cancer and many other illnesses for many years. She truly will be missed and remain in our hearts forever. In lieu of flowers, Jannie asked if you could adopt a cat or donate to the local animal shelter.
