I am devastated years later. Jeff keeps living on in my heart. He was my first best friend in Alaska when I was in 3rd or 4th grade. He and Shawn were like brothers to this only child. Jeff and I had so many adventures and memories including jamming out in his garage playing Smoke on the Water.
He was a gentle warrior. He was a good friend and a better man. Losing him is painful to this day but I am privileged to have known him.

So sorry to Shawn and Family for the loss of Jeff. So many memories since grade school at Woodland Park and growing up through high school at West. Our times hanging out, riding bikes, all of our childhood friends and laughing in our Spenard. God Speed my old friend and peace until we meet again. Love to and yours ~ Tina Eldridge

Shawn and family, I'm so sorry to learn of Jeff's struggle with HD and his passing. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I can't begin to tell you how heartbroken I am.
Jeff has always been in my heart. We grew up together. He was "my first love", "high school sweetheart", and best friend. All of my memories from age 14 to 21 are filled with our times together... High school at West , where he won the bench press contest, wrestling, our proms, walking from class to class together, and looking foreward to the end of the day so we could hang out. I'll never forget three wheeling, watching MTV for hours, and so much more.
You were my world . I will remember you always and love you forever

Shawn, I am so sorry to learn of Jeff's struggles with Huntington's Disease and of his death. He was a delightful young man and a pleasure to teach. There is such irony in learning of this sadness now as I think of you each Christmas when I am making cranberry nut bread. The first loaf I ever made came from a recipe in the cookbook I purchased from you at West High. The Babbitt brothers will always hold a place in my heart.

I'm heartbroken to hear about Jeff, my friend and brother in so many ways. While our lives have gone down different roads for many years, Jeff and Shawn are so much a part of who I am and are part of the memories I cherish the most. Love and thoughts to his family who I know will miss this wonderful guy. Know that his memory lives on in the stories we will tell of him, my kids have heard some good ones of their dad and his buddy Jeff and their Anchorage antics of old. Peace to you Jeff, I'll see you on the other side my friend.

My heart goes out to the Laframboise family. Jeff was a great guy and a lot of fun to talk to. I remember him and many conversations of sports, music. And just hobbies in general in the library at WHS back in '83
God Bless,

Jeff will be missed dearly. What a great guy he was, always wanting to know about how you were doing, never how he was feeling. But we know that he is in a better place, with no pain. We will never forget you.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your beloved Jeff. Although we're not acquainted, I personally understand the sadness of Huntington's Disease as my family has lost several members over the years to it. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
