Jeremy Correlli Obituary

Jeremy (Jermo) Allen Correlli

Beloved husband, son, father, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend.

Jeremy (Jermo) Allen Correlli was born on June 23, 1981 in Carson City, Nevada to Rick and Patsy Correlli. He passed away peacefully in his home on March 30, 2016 in Carson City, Nevada. He was thirty four years old.

Jermo grew up in Carson City, with his brothers, Josh and Ricky Correlli. He graduated from Carson High School in 1999. His love for the outdoors allowed him to live life to the fullest. He enjoyed wakeboarding, houseboating in Bullards Bar, golfing, camping and hunting with family and friends.

Jermo met Jennifer Rose Lear in 2001. They were married in Carson City on August 3, 2007, and most recently celebrated their eight year anniversary. They lived in and raised their young family in the home Jermo designed and built with his Uncle Big.

In 2008, Jermo earned a degree in B-tech in Construction Science from the UNR and then began working as a Project Manager and Lead Estimator at his family's business, Rick's Floor Covering. He worked closely with his mom, dad, and brother Ricky to help manage and run the family business.

Jermo was a loyal friend and genuinely appreciated helping others. If you had a problem, Jermo wanted to fix it. It didn't matter if it was big or small. It just had to be perfect. His generosity was only paralleled by his fierce and endless love for his family.

As a husband, Jermo loved Jenny fiercely and never hesitated to let her know how much he appreciated her. His unique and thoughtful gestures of love were constant. He left colorful love notes for her in the feeding journal for the twins, knowing Jenny would find them during the tiresome middle of the night feedings. In the eight and a half years they were married, they built a beautiful life together, manifested in their three beautiful children. Chloe Grace was born August 23, 2010 and twins Natalia Ann and Jeremy Allen Jr. were born September 16, 2015.

As a father, Jermo was the best "Dadoo" Chloe, Natalia, and Jeremy could ask for. They were his world. He enjoyed spending time with Chloe whether it was swimming, golfing, hunting or simply braiding her ponies' hair. The day his twins were born, Jermo posted to the world that, "Today was a good day!" You couldn't be near Jermo without him showing you the most recent pictures of his twins, or gloating on how good little Jeremy looked in his Dodger blue hat.

Jeremy brought so much love and joy to the lives of his parents and brothers. He was not only their son/brother, he was their companion and their best friend. Life will never be the same without Jeremy in it, but his memory and beautiful smile will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

Uncle Jermo was adored by all of his nieces and nephews. He loved and spoiled every single one of them. They were drawn to his playful and fun presence like magnets—so much so they would hold him captive in their playroom with them.

Jermo's smile brightened our lives. His laugh was happiness. We love and cherish every moment we had with him.

Thank you for teaching us to love, to push through pain for the benefit of others, to give selflessly, and above all, to appreciate every day we are given with our loved ones. Your stories will live on; your children will know the great love you had for them and what an amazing father you were. You will be forever missed, and our lives will be forever changed. We love you Jermo.

We want to thank everyone that has generously given to Jenny's gofundme account and signed up for meals on Meal Train on Facebook. Your thoughts, prayers, and kind words have sustained our hearts during this time. In lieu of flowers, accounts have been set up (gofundme.com and Nevada State Bank).

Jermo is survived by his wife, Jenny Correlli; his children, Chloe, Natalia, and Jeremy Correlli, Jr.; his parents, Rick and Patsy Correlli; his grandparents, Joe and Lilly Leonard; his brothers, Josh (Melinda) and Ricky Correlli; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, April 7th at 1:30 p.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 3000 North Lompa Lane, Carson City.

I just learned of your loss and my heart go's out to you. I am an old friend from our Capital Courts days. I will always remember when I babysat Jeremy one weekend, he was the cutest baby ever
BUT I could not put him down or he would cry. I was very happy to carry him around with me. I know you will all carry him with you in your hearts.

Though I haven't spoken to Jeremy for the better part of 2 decades, I feel compelled to express my remembrances and my sadness at hearing of his passing. I remember my first interactions with Jeremy were in elementary school, of him encouraging me to join in the basketball or football games, regardless of the logistics. He was quick with words of encouragement after any number of my ungraceful plays. I remember several times getting frustrated, and he was the first kid to encourage me to continue. He was also the guy who defended me against criticism. An impressive person even as a kid; I have no doubts that these were character traits of Jeremy's even in later years. I am truly saddened and sorry for everyone's loss.

Dear Rick & Patsy, I can't even imagine what all of you are going through and the sadness you must be feeling.. Our families were close at one time and you were always so welcoming and kind to our boys Chad & Bryan that spent a lot of time with you and your boys. I remember Jeremy from when he was very little, that smile of his always melted my heart, he was always so sweet and respectful. I did not know him as an adult & father, but I know he had to be awesome, his wife & children are beautiful and he will live on through them. Please know my thoughts and prayers have been with you ever since I heard the sad news, please take care & God bless the Corelli family,

I'm so at a loss for words. I'm praying for your family. I remember my first day at Carson City Middle School. It was a new school, new city, and new state for me. I had no friends and was overwhelmed. Then you came and introduced yourself to me. You made my adjustment to a new school easier. You were a good friend and great teammate on the basketball court.

Jeremy has always been one of my favorate cousins. I have the best memmories of when we were kids going to the Corado River & more lakes & camp grounds going water skiing, snow skiing, fishing, hunting with tents, campers, boats & more. A fun memmory when we were a lot younger was playing tackle football in his backyard.
