I just found out today (10/16/2019) that Jerome Thigpen has passed away. I was heartbroken. I am literally a better man because I came in contact with Jerome more 30 years ago. There is a politician running for office here in Pennsylvania named Thigpen and I started thinking about Jeromes handsome smile and enchanting personality. I use to play basketball with Jerome and Emmett and thought Id go online and look for them. So sad to learn of his familys tragedy. I will begin today praying for his family every night. He was a Good Man and helped make me one. God Bless!

I'm very sorry for the pain that Jerome's passing is bringing to his family & friends, and I'm sorry for the loss to his family--especially to his sweet little boy. Please understand that God called Jerome home, and through Trenton & God’s revelation of Jerome’s final days, we can be thankful that God blessed him before doing so; this is part of God's greater plan that we need to trust and believe-in vs. trying to understand, as in time, God's purpose is always revealed. As children of God who accept Jesus Christ as their savior, we can have eternal life, and I understand Jerome knew & accepted this and asked for redemption; I take comfort in such greatness during this time of sorrow. May God bless and be with Jerome’s family and friends and ease their pain. Rest in peace Jerome; you have been through so many trials. ~Gwen Ball, on behalf of the Ball family
