Jewel DiQuarto Obituary

Jewel M. DiQuarto is survived by her four sons; Mark DiQuarto of Albuquerque New Mexico; Anthony DiQuarto of Reno Nevada; Thomas DiQuarto of Reno Nevada; and Christopher DiQuarto of Reno Nevada. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jewel loved to work, and held employment most recently up to the age of 76 with the Reno Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Jewel held her family in the highest esteem and importance throughout her lifetime. Her family was her pride and joy. We miss you Mom. We love you Mom. We cannot thank you enough for the countless sacrifices and true unconditional love that you showed to us. You showed incredible strength all of your life, and guided us with compassion through times of despair, and through times of happiness. You are truly special and you are truly loved by all of us. Memorial services will be held in Jewel's honor at Crosswinds Assembly of God Church, located in Sparks Nevada, on Monday, May 23rd at 3:00pm. The memorial will be followed by a dinner reception in Reno. May your light shine upon us Mom, and may the Lord hold you in His arms for all eternity. Rest in Peace.

Jewel was a shining star and we always enjoyed being greeted by her when we entered the Red Cross building to volunteer. She was such a gracious, lovely lady and we have missed her smiling face. How blessed you were to have her love and caring.
