Katherine Devine Obituary
We are sad to say our daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, Katherine Jill Devine, has had a heart attack and passed away. She was born in Reno on December 20, 1960, attended school in Carson City and completed two years of college in accounting. Previous employment included several years with Intuit. Jill was an animal lover and loved camping, and fishing, baking, cooking, and gardening at her home in Sparks. She was a movie buff, especially science fiction, and was a Star Trek fan since the 1980s.
She is survived by her parents, Dennis and Rose Devine and Robin and Sharon Palazzolo. Jill is also survived by four sisters: Diana Silsby (Jim), Tamera Pitts (Steve), Brandy Allazetta (Bob) and Danielle Gill (David), one nephew and five nieces.
Jill will be forever missed by her family and those who loved her. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers those desiring to make a memorial donation in Jill's memory, are asked to do so to an organization of their choice.
