Linda Ruth Dennis

Sparks - Linda Ruth Dennis, born in Yakima, WA, in 1948 and long-time resident of Sparks, passed away in a Reno hospital on June 30. Linda is survived by her nieces, Dani, Shawna and Keri Anne, nephews Andrew and Darrin, sister Billie and grand nieces and nephews, Liam, Cora, Ella, Brennan, Isabel, Eva and Annelise and numerous friends and neighbors including lifelong friend Jeannie Rasmussen. A constant presence in the lives of her nieces throughout their childhood, she helped to raise them and contributed to their establishing their own happy families. Through numerous trips to amusement parks, beaches, movies, ghost towns and always being there in time of need or just to lend an ear or make a joke Linda contributed to many happy childhood moments in the lives of her nieces and nephew. Linda was a founding member of the Rainbow Bend community and served for many years on the board of the Canyon General Improvement District. Linda was known as a good neighbor and generous and kind friend. Linda's love of animals, her humor, generosity, and occasional grouchiness will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

I will miss seeing Linda sitting at her window with her white cat. It seems like she has lived in our neighborhood forever and I will really miss seeing her and talking with her. My condolences to her family and all her friends.

we have such happy memories of Linda at Jim and Keri's wedding. She added so much to that happy occasion. Our sympathy to her family and friends.

Linda worked for my parents years ago when they had the 7-11 on Neil Rd. Linda was a lot of fun and I loved working with her. Good memories! My condolences to her family. I'm sure she will be missed.
