Louise Marks Obituary
Mrs. Louise Marks, 88, of Florence, passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, following a lengthy illness.
Visitation for family and friends will be at Elkins Funeral Home on Wednesday beginning at 1 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Brother Malcolm Scott will officiate. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She was a member of the Community Freewill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Marks is survived by a son, Jimmy Marks and wife, Glenda, of Florence; grandchildren, Jason, Craig, Sonda and Marie; great-grandchildren, Baylee, Connor, Doug, Matthew, Tanner, Kayla, Brittany and Maranda; a great-great-grandchild, Matthew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Marks; a daughter, Margaret McKelvey; sisters, Nettie Phillips, Virgie Richardson and Kathleen Cochran; a brother, Lonzo Horton.
Pallbearers will be Jason and Craig Marks, Roger Thomas, Henry Norwood and Tim and Dale Cochran.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to C.A.R.D. (Coalition of Alzheimer's and Related Disorders), P.O. Box 1608, Florence, AL. 35631-1608.
The family thanks Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation for their excellent care.
