Matthew Washell Obituary

Matthew C. Washell

Sept. 4, 1996

Dec. 5, 2013

Born and raised in Reno, Nevada and recently moved to Wilsonville, Oregon. He was born on Sep. 4, 1996 and passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 5, 2013.

Matthew was a smart and handsome 17 year old high school student, who impacted many lives of his family and friends.

Most people will remember Matthew for his bright smile, amazing laugh and friendly spirit to everyone he met. He had the most amazing sense of humor, and was also the most caring, intelligent son, grandson, nephew, brother, uncle, and best friend anyone could ever ask for. He grew up to be such a wonderful young man, that no one is ever going to forget.

He is survived by his heartbroken family, mother Patrice Lans-Washell, his Father Matthew Washell Sr., His two siblings Kyndra Washell and Tyler Washell. He is also survived by his nephew Garrett, his grandma Sandy Lans and his aunt Michele Lans and uncle Randy Lans. Whom he loved, all more than anything.

Matthew's service will be held at Discovery Fellowship, 8755 Technology Way in Reno, NV. From 7-9pm.

In memory of Matthew's life, the family requests that those wishing to make a contribution in Matthew's name, please send their memorial contributions to The Second Nature Program at….. (http://www.snwp.com)

Dear Matthew, I miss you everyday and think about all the fun and goofy things we have done together. I loved that you got to live with me awhile and let me care for you and make your birthday cake. May seem like small things but I loved you and still do and prayed for your safety and happiness at all times. I hope you are able to see from heaven the thousands of people who LOVE you and that you are safe from earthly pains? Probably having a good time with relative and friends already in heaven. I wish everyday that you were still here but I have to trust that you made the decision to live beyond pain of earth. I love you forever any always in ALL Ways.

Rest easy Matty, I don't think you'll ever be able to understand the impact you had on everyone's lives. You were one of the most amazing, genuine, people I have ever met. You're going to be missed more than you will ever know.

I love you and miss you so much little brother. It has not gotten any easier in the time that you have been gone. I still can't put the words together to explain how I am feeling but, in the end I just hope you knew how much I loved you and would have done anything to take your pain away.
