Michael Allen Boyle

December 17, 1988

July 3, 2011

Michael Allen Boyle. Twenty two years of age. Born in Lebanon, Oregon and grown in Reno, Nevada. We, friends and family, share a fragment of our thoughts and love for an extraordinary man.

"To our beloved son Michael Allen Boyle: you were a gift to us from the moment you were born. We both treasured you through all of your short life. You will always be remembered and can never be replaced. Everyone felt a great level of trust with Michael. Your mother and father will always love you and cannot wait to see you again." -Joni, Mother

"He will be survived with his friends and parents, Joni Spade and Allen Boyle. We'll miss him." -Allen, Father

"He would tell me how good I would be over there [over seas]. Everyone would ask me why I joined the army? Mike would tell me, 'So you can replace General McChrystal. You were the best of all us."" -Travis M.

"He would do anything for you. If you needed something handled, he would handle it. He welcomed any and everyone with open arms. Everyone got respect from him. He would always fight over the stupidest things and always win. He never turned his back on you. When you were down and out, he was by your side. He made everyone a better person. He saw everyone's good side. He always had a plan. He made us who we are." -Aj R.

"'What did he want us to do?' -Sean G… 'Whatever we wanted. Always do better. That's all he ever pushed me to do.'" -Dillon Q.

"Mike was an outstanding man who always saw the best potential in everyone. He was more supportive than anyone I had ever met. I would have done anything for this man, along with every single person he had an impact on in his short life. Thank you for believing in me when everyone else gave up on me." -Matt R.

"He lived ferociously. He was a champion in all regards: scholar, gentleman, professional partier, son, and friend. He pushed our potential beyond our preconceived limits. He had a strong head and stronger heart. We were boys and then men together. Legends never die. We love you eternally." -Kyle Y.

"To infinity and beyond! B-YAHHH!" -Michael Allen Boyle

Although we didn't talk as much in college as we did in high school, I will never forget all the fun times we had for all the years I was privileged enough to be your friend. You always made me laugh, even at myself. Thank you for being such a great person. We miss you, forever.

I've known you since back in the Donner Springs days, seems like forever ago. I still can't believe you're gone. This has been one of the most difficult good-byes I've ever had to say. But I know this won't be good-bye forever, only a see you later. You will always be in our hearts and your family will always be in our prayers. There is so much I could say about you, but the point is I've always loved you so much and always will. Rest in Peace Michael Allen Boyle.

I loved waking up every morning for work knowing that I would have a text message from you. It always made the day go by faster. I can't believe that we're never going to get to watch every episode of Lost like we've been planning. Because of you, I've met some of the greatest people who have become some of my closest friends. You always had an ability to bring people together. I'm really going to miss you Mike.

Buddy,
We have been through many stages of our lives together, friends came and went but we always stuck together. We've seen some bad times and we've seen some great times in these past 10 years of friendship and the list of stories and adventures could go on for days. You were the one friend I could count on to always be there when life got bumpy. When things went bad you always kept a smile on your face and a kick in your step. You have changed my life in more ways then I could ever tell you.
I love you brother and I will see you again. Save me a seat at the bar and order us a shot.

Mike,
Thank you for the wonderful friendship you have provided to my son throughout the years. You have truly been one of "our other sons". You will be so missed. You are way to young to be leaving us on this earth, but I know Heaven is a lucky place to be with you in it. Anywhere you are, is a much brighter place! We will be seeing you again. This family loves you!
Joannie and Al, our deepest sympathies... Thank you for sharing your precious son with our family over the years! You raised a truly remarkable young man. You are in our prayers.
Love always

Mike, I can't even begin to explain how much I cherish every one of our memories. You always made me laugh, made sure I kept painting and pushed me to be the best artist. I'll never forget the time you said "Well you're the next FaFi". You always will have a place in my heart and I can't imagine a day without you here for all of us. Until we meet again, I love you Boyle. Thank you for everything.

Boyle, my high school experience wouldn't have been the same without you. You're the one who truely brought me out of my shell and you were one of the funniest people I ever had the pleasure of knowing. I can't tell you how much I cherish our memories together and how much I wish you were still here. You will be so missed by everyone who knew you. Rest in peace. You'll always be in my thoughts.

From the moment we met, we clicked and became friends. I always knew that you would be there for me. I could always count on getting those late night/early morning texts from you and you would respond to me if I did the same to you. I miss you so much, and even though our time together was too short, you will forever be in my heart. I know I'll see you very soon playa. xo
