Michael George Pallanck died peacefully on October 8, 2015, after a short battle with Leukemia. Michael was born on March 27, 1962 in Castro Valley, California. In 1965, Michael moved with his family from Oakland, California to Walnut Creek, California where he lived until he graduated from Las Lomas high school in 1980. After graduating from high school Michael moved to Reno, NV where he remained until his death. In Reno, Michael met his wife Karen, with whom he had a daughter, Niki, who was the joy of his life. Michael was naturally talented at working with machines and he spent most of his adult life as a heavy equipment operator. His attention to detail, strong work ethic, and outgoing nature earned him the trust and friendship of his many coworkers.

Michael is predeceased by his wife Karen, his mother Genevieve, his father Leo, and his older sister, Sheri. He is survived by his daughter Niki, his grandson Clayton, his fiancé Felicia, his brother Leo, his two sisters Laura and Linda, as well as many other close friends and acquaintances.

Michael was much loved by his family and friends. He was an avid bowler, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his daughter, grandson and fiancé. He will be greatly missed by his family, his coworkers and his many friends.
