Millie was born in Susanville, CA and spent the majority of her life in Sparks, NV.
She loved gardening, crocheting, knitting, sewing and reading. In her later years she enjoyed helping to run the exercise program for the Senior Citizens Center in Sparks.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cyril and leaves behind two sons, Cyril Jr. and Robert; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Millie died peacefully on the morning of April 8th after a 15 year fight with Parkinson's decease. She will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held on April 28th @ 2:00 pm at the Mountain View Cemetery.

Dearest Millie,
Our family will miss you and your outgoing presence in this world. You always had something going on and inspired me as a young girl, to work hard and do what I love. You brought a real belly laugh to my grandpa's day when the four of us would get together. Not many girls could make him laugh hard and talk for hours- but you could. You did that with all of us. My grandma helped serve at a catering job with you a few times...she had the time of her life. Thank you for bringing fun and happiness to us by just being yourself. Love from Judy and Art Vettlin. This was written by their grand daughter Jaime from WA state. I'm sorry we lost contact with you the last 10 years but Grandpa passed away and since then nothing had been the same. We know you are resting peacefully now and forever. Love, Jaime

My condolences to the family and friends of Millie, with whom I spent many a delightful hour as her visiting chaplain, listening to her life stories, sharing laughter, singing for her, and praying with her.
