Mitchell David Sperling Jr.

David, 22, died on Monday, November 04, 2013 in Reno, Nevada. He is survived by his father Mitch Sperling, mother Kim Sperling, brother Ryan Sperling, grandparents Tony and Mary Sperling of Reno Nevada, grandparents Gene and Texas Young of Martinsville Virginia, Great Grandma Mattie Belt of Martinsville, Virginia, Aunt Joy in Florida, Uncle Crist in Alabama and Uncle Vince in Florida and Uncle Mark in Florida. He worked at Henry Schein in Sparks Nevada , attended the University of Nevada and was the lead guitarist in the Reggae band called Uprising, playing local venues including opening for the Whalers. Services will be held at South Reno Baptist Church , 6780 S McCarran Blvd , Reno Nv 89509 on Saturday, November 16th at 11:00 am.

My heart has been very heavy since we lost David, a gently soul. I have been praying for the peace that God had promised us during times we dont understand. I am so sad but rejoice that we will see him in heaven. I think about you all often and are always in our prayers Sperlings, not a day has gone by where we havent thought of David.
