Myron Hawkins Obituary
MYRON "BUCK" HAWKINS passed away August 23, 2014. He was born JULY 1918 in Fallon, NV. Most of his childhood was spent in Palisade, NV. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII being discharged in Dec. 1945 when he married Ruth Kelly. In 1947 he brought his family back to Nevada where he went to work for the Southern Pacific Railroad. He retired from the Washoe County School District in 1978. He is survived by two of three daughters, Carol Lundberg and Sharon Edwards; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 with visitation being held at O'Brien-Rogers & Crosby Funeral Home, 600 West Second Street, in Reno from 10:00 a.m. to noon. The interment service will be at the VA cemetery in Fernley, NV. at 1:00.
