Norman Avansino Obituary
Reno - Norman John Avansino, 100, went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2018. Norman was born in Reno, Nevada on February 11, 1917, and grew up in Virginia City. Norman and his wife Marie lived and raised a family in Sparks and Reno for more than 50 years. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 68 years Marie Avansino, his brother Albert Avansino and his daughter Carol Martini. He is survived by his son Paul (Mary Ann) Avansino, his brother Bill Avansino, his son in law Sam Martini, his sister Doloris Garrett, grandchildren John (Julie) Martini, Joseph (Allison) Martini, Joe Avansino, Christine (Robie) Wells, great grandchildren Dillon, Riley, Emily, Janelle, and Dominic, and numerous nephews and nieces.
