- - The Rev. Paul E. Towner, 05/20/32-12/26/2017
A memorial service with Holy Eucharist for The Rev. Paul E. Towner will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1135 12th St., Sparks, NV on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Following the church service, a reception will be held in St. Paul's Parish Hall. Father Towner was the rector of St. Paul's from 1966 until June 1997. Rev. Towner served as Rector of Holy Trinity, Fallon, NV and also held Sunday afternoon church services in Hawthorne, NV in 1965 before moving to Sparks in 1966 to serve as Rector of St. Paul's for the next 30 years. After his retirement Father Towner returned to his hometown of Colorado Springs, CO.

Fr. Paul was a great family friend of ours. He came to Fallon while we lived there in the 60s. After I moved to Reno we remained friends. I stayed in touch for many years and am sad to hear of his passing. Rest in Peace Fr. Paul.

Father Towner baptized me and was instrumental in helping my dad attend the Seminary. I´m now very devoted to Christ. Thank you Father and I look forward to giving you a hug in heaven
