BROTHERS

Scott Brothers, born March 18, 1963, passed away on April 10, 2008. Scott was a lifetime Nevada resident. Scott was a friend to all, a loving and caring father, an avid hunter and a honorable man. Scott served the community of Washoe County as a Range Master at the Washoe County Regional Shooting Facility and worked as an Inmate Supervisor for the Washoe County Sheriff's Office. Those who had the privilege to know Scott understood that he was the type of man who loved law enforcement and everyone associated with it.

Scott is survived by his father, Russell Brothers, his much loved children, Garrett, Grant and Denice and his beloved Sherry. He will be deeply missed by his family friends and both the law enforcement and military community.

There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 between 6-8 p.m. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Mountain View Mortuary. The family requests in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Scott Brothers Memorial Fund, Frontier Financial, Account #53333322, (775) 829-2070.

Scott, you´re the most honorable man I will ever know. You taught me how to use a Colt, a 9 mm & the AR & let me drive your truck. Thank you for getting me through very difficult times in 2005 & 06. God bless. We are better people for knowing you.

My heart goes out to Scott's family. This year may not start out as it had been expected to. It may be filled with sadness and weary to what lies ahead for you. In times of hardness we must all delve deep into ones mind and bring forth the happiness we once felt with or around him. It is not good to dwell on what could have been, but to move past and live, laugh at the stupid thing's he once did and the jokes he would tell. Gather wisdom from his stories and let his life reflect upon what he has done.

We have hope, love and faith for this very reason. Turn away from the dark and bask in the light of his life. Stay strong for us all and remember that we will always be here for you.

Read these words and believe that Scott made it to the golden gates, and now he may always look upon you and watch with joy as his children grow and prosper.

I am truly sorry for your loss. If you guys need anything you know you can turn to us and we will be there.
