Stephen J. Ward, age 54 of Portland Oregon, has passed away on October 13th, 2013.
Stephen J. Ward was born in Reno, NV, to his parents, Larry G. Ward, and Myrna L. Keough. Stephen went to Proctor R. Hug High School, and went on to study Liberal Arts at University of Nevada, Reno. Stephen was previously married to Gayle Ward, with whom he had two children, Sarah and Tim.
Stephen continued with his love for music by perfecting his skills with the bass guitar. Stephen played music all over the country in his lifetime, and has played in bands such as Dr. Hook, The Dues Brothers, and most recently with Papa Salty. More recent, Stephen had changed his main occupation to a professional leasing agent so he could spend more time with family and relaxing. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, friends, and family.
Stephen is survived by his children Sarah Ward and Tim Ward; and their mother, Gayle Ward. He is survived by his brothers Rody, Robby, Shane, and Troy Ward. He is also considered survived by his 3 grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be scheduled at a later date.
