As a former co-worker of Steve's at NRCS I will remember his warm smile and pleasant nature. I have fond memories of the delicious tomatoes he harvested from his garden. He knew they were the best - you could tell by the huge smile on his face. My condolences to those he left behind.

I worked with Steve at NRCS and through the Nevada small farmers group. He had a wealth of information about soils (ugh) and farming (yay). He sold us the absolute best garlic. My family loved it. He always attended our retirees' luncheons and was just a pleasure to be around. Rest well, my friend. You're missed already.

Steve is missed at the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). After retiring, Steve returned to the office signing up as an Earth Team volunteer. His knowledge was utilized on a regular basis. Steve brought fresh tomatoes from his garden every year. He attended all social functions. I am grateful I had the chance to meet Steve. He was a good man.

We met Steve at the Infiniti store as he purchased a couple of cars from us. He was always engaging and easy to talk to-very well read and super interesting life experiences. He was always gracious, and simply, a Good Man. Godspeed, Steve, until we meet again-you have earned your rest.
