Thomas Bacon Obituary
Reno - Thomas (Tom) Bacon, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on Christmas Day, December 25th 2019. He was residing at Summit Estates in Reno Nevada. Tom was born to Lorrnes Smith in Gilroy, CA on January 13, 1936 and was adopted by his Aunt and Uncle Clyde and Clarice Bacon in 1940 then moved to Arizona. Tom was an Army Vet and Truck Driver. He drove independently and for FedEx. He loved Trucks, Guns and flirting with women right up to the end. He was preceded in death by his wife Maxine Bacon and leaves behind his children Elizabeth Judy, Tommy Bacon, Desirae Jernberg and Mona Costalupes; 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. The family would like to extend our gratitude to Summit View Hospice and Summit Estates for their loving care. Please join the family for a celebration of Tom's life on Saturday, January 18th at 1:00pm at the Walton's-Ross, Burke & Knobel Mortuary, 2155 Kietzke Ln., Reno NV. In Lieu of flowers the family would like you to consider a donation to St. Jude. These can be made at stjude.org.
