Jacqueline Phillips Obituary

Jacqueline "Jackie" Gaines Wright Phillips, of Spring City, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025. Born to Phyllis Joanne Gaines White and Vernon William Gaines. She graduated from Rhea County High School and attended Tennessee Technological University.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Jo White and Bill Gaines, stepfather Carl White, her beloved daughter Hope Ann Dunn; and her grandparents, Jack and Ernestine Dodson and Elmer and Velma Gaines.

She is survived by her daughter, Faith Lynn Wright; her sisters, Tracy Gaines Queen and Annie Gaines; her brothers, Wil White and Bryan Gaines; and her nephew, Tyler Queen.

Jackie had a gentle, loving heart. Her story is not defined by her struggles, but by her capacity for love. She had a quick wit, a tender spirit, and a smile that could warm a room. Those who loved her will carry that warmth always.

Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in knowing she is now at peace and held in the grace of her heavenly Father. Her kind spirit will live on in the memories and hearts of all who knew her.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
