Oma Lee Yeargan, 69, of Pikeville, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 3, 2024.
She was born Sept. 18, 1954, in Dayton to Vaughn and Viola Morgan.
Mrs. Yeargan was a lifelong resident of this area and was a member of Cranmore Cove Baptist Church. Oma had a great sense of humor and loved entertaining. She loved sewing, games, cookouts, and most of all, she loved her family.
Mrs. Yeargan is preceded in death by her parents, Vaughn and Viola Morgan; husband, William "Sonny" Yeargan; brothers, Arthur and Robert Morgan; and sister, Martha Louise Morgan.
Oma is survived by her four children, Chris (Mandy) Yeargan, Jeff (Tracy) Yeargan, Greg (Jeannie) Yeargan and Mark (Angie) Yeargan; her five sisters, Frances Ward, Mary Hartman, Joy (Ray) Hodge, Sally (Rick) Lynch and Alta Lehmkuhler; her brother, Jimmy Ray (Carolyn) Morgan; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Reid officiating. Burial will follow at Summer City Cemetery. The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. A visitation will also be held from noon until the time of the service on Wednesday.
