Anthony Eugene Daniels age 96 of Weyerhaeuser was surrounded by his loving family as he found eternal life on May 4th, 2025. Anthony was born on October 24, 1928 to Antone and Sophie (Jessick) Daniels of Weyerhaeuser. He was the third of 14 children, Tony married Helen Sirek on August 2, 1952. They made their home on the Daniels farm in Weyerhaeuser where they raised 6 daughters. In 1985 they retired from their dairy farm and built a new home only 3 miles away.
Tony started his love of the farm at a young age of 14 when he took over the family farm. He was a devoted husband, father and proud grandfather and great grandfather. He was able to experience 5 generations, 3 separate times during his lifespan. His passion was working in the woods, whether it was cutting firewood, making logs or milling lumber to build his home. He loved to travel, camp, snowmobile, dance and especially his polkas, fix things and socialize. Tony was a leader in the community serving in the School Board, County Board, Snowmobile club, SS. Peter & Paul lodge, and the Equity Coop Board.
Tony is survived by his 6 daughters; Marilyn (Carl) Swaney, Dianne Burton, Doris (Tom) Smith, Laurie (Larry) Fortuna, Susan (Don) Kaminski and Ellen Daniels, 21 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, 2 brothers; Richard and Tom Daniels and six sisters; Louise Nyc, Deloris Kromrey, Geraldine Bossany, Fran Moss, Joanne Newman and Christine Daniels.
Tony was preceded in death by his wife Helen, his parents, a brother Jim and 4 sisters; Theresa Tatur, Sister Lucy Daniels, Kathleen Turley and Margaret Daniels.
Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 Pm, Sunday May 11 with a scripture service at 7:00 PM at Nash-Jackan Funeral home in Bruce Wisconsin. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 Am, May 12, at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Weyerhaeuser, with visitation one hour prior at the church with Father Papi Reddy Yeruva and Dcns. Craig Voldberg and Tom Fuhrmann officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
