Melody R. Leuthner age 73, of Rice Lake, Wisconsin passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin surrounded by her loving family.
Melody was born on October 13, 1952 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin to Harold and Bertha (Nelson) Hogeboom. She was united in marriage on May 19, 1973 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rice Lake, Wisconsin to Dennis Leuthner. She worked at Wright Products and Nickols Home shield as well as Woolworth's and Walmart.
In her free time she enjoyed bowling, and doing diamond art. She was the current president of the VFW Auxillary and was an active member of the American Legion Auxillary. She was a life member of the Rice Lake Moose Lodge #402.
Melody is survived by her loving husband, Dennis; Siblings, Larry (Noriko) Hogeboom, Vivian Gagner, Twin sister, Mary (Dale) Koenig; Greg (Anna) Hogeboom, Warren (Theresa) Hogeboom, Dean (Stephanie) Hogeboom and LeAnn (Bruce) Hensel as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Bertha; siblings, Roxanne, Irene, Carl. a brother-in-law, Neal and step-father, Hank Hendricks.
A Woman of the Moose service followed by funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Kilcoyne Memorial Services, 637 N. Main Street Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the service at Nora Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Rice Lake Moose Lodge.
