Eleanor V. Kuzela

Eleanor V. Kuzela, 88, of Plainfield Pike, Sterling, CT and a longtime esident of Coventry, RI, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023, at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, Providence, RI. Born on September 18, 1934, in Warren Township, IL, she was the wife of the late Laddie E. Kuzela and the daughter of the late Sylvester and Marguerite (Anderson) Lange.
Eleanor was a homemaker to her loving family. In her youth, she worked briefly as a cosmetologist. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, garage sales, puzzles and spending time with her family. Eleanor was a very caring and loving person to her husband and children and was always there to help those who needed her.
Eleanor is survived by two daughters: Marguerite Terfone and Janice Mapel and her husband Bill McElroy, three grandchildren; Corey Kuzela, Megan Moulton and Maxwell Mapel and her dear friend Doris Keetle. She was predeceased by her husband Laddie Kuzela, two children; Cherie Kuzela and James Kuzela, and five siblings; Donald, Shirley, Catherine, Carol and Jennifer.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 6:00pm in the Gorton – Menard Funeral Home, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Burial will be private.
