Honoria "Noreen" M. Weber, 84, a resident of North Kingstown for over 50 years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. She was the loving wife of the late Michael Weber. Born in County Galway, Ireland, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Coleman) Hannon.
Noreen was employed as a Registered Nurse at Kent Hospital in Warwick before retiring. She was a devoted communicant of St. Francis de Sales Parish in North Kingstown where she served as an active volunteer for many years. Her faith and family mattered most. Noreen also enjoyed gardening.
She was the beloved mother of Marie Spellman, Kathleen LaLonde (husband, Michael), and Sean Weber (wife, Stephani); devoted grandmother of Ashley Weber (fiancé, Nick Lutes), Kyle Weber, Conor LaLonde, Riley LaLonde, and Aidan LaLonde; and caring sister of Hugh Hannon, and Mary Meade of Ireland. Noreen is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Michael Spellman, and son-in-law to-be, Robert Safford; and siblings, Anne Hannon, Bridie Hayden and Margaret Hannon.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home of North Kingstown.
Relatives and friends were invited to gather in procession at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Rd., North Kingstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School St., North Kingstown. Her burial will be in the RI Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
