Ronald D'Amico Obituary

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI- Ronald (Ron) Paul DAmico, 65, passed away on September 12, 2025, in his home surrounded by love and light. Born on August 23, 1960, in Providence, RI, Ron lived a life marked by curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to both personal growth and community connection.

A proud graduate of North Kingstown High School (Class of 1978), Ron went on to earn his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island in 1983. His professional journey was as dynamic as his spirit, spanning roles at Red Rooster Tavern, Amtrol Inc, Edgehill Newport, R.P. D'Amico and Associates, RI Realty.com, and Sovereign Private Lending LLC.

Ron was a devoted member of the Concordia Center for Spiritual Living in Warwick, RI, where he found spiritual nourishment and community. He sang joyfully in the choir, hiked with his beloved hounds, and explored the mysteries of consciousness and global ascension.

Ron is survived by his loving daughter Vanessa Janek; cherished grandchildren Isla and Margot; devoted brothers David D'Amico and Thomas D'Amico; and his beloved mother, Elizabeth (Betty) D'Amico. He also leaves behind his stepdaughters Mia Lamar Butcher and Carleigh Lamar, who brought him joy and pride. Ron was predeceased by his father Albert D'Amico and brother Albert DAmico, whose memories he honored.

A memorial service was held on September 22, 2025, at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home in West Warwick, RI. Visitation took place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Burial followed at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston, RI.

In honor of Ron's life and legacy, donations may be made to the Concordia Center for Spiritual Living at concordiacsl.org for Ron D'Amico.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Donna Sugarman for her unwavering love, kindness, and support.

Ron's light continues to shine in the hearts of those he touched. May his soul soar freely, as he always believed it would.
