Sandra Thompson Obituary
In her early years she was a middle school English teacher and drama coach. Later she and her husband owned and operated Minuteman Press of Providence until 2002. In retirement she was actively involved with Operation Clean Government and Master Gardeners. She continued to pursue her love of gardening and native plants by becoming a member of the Rhode Island Wild Plant Society, where she chaired the plant sale for multiple years, as well as participated in their Seed Starter program. Memorial services will be private.
Memorial donations can be made to the Rhode Island Wild Plant Society, riwps.org.

I remember Sandra's enthusiasm and eagerness to learn during her early days as a Master Gardeners. What a lovely person. It was a privilege to have known her. Her RIWPS contributions are legendary. My condolences to her family and friends.

Sandra will be missed. As a member of RIWPS Seed Starters West we relied on her wisdom and judgement as well as her energy and determination. She shared her gifts with many. My thoughts are with Paul and all other family members.
