Bernice Renee Osborn Jolley was born March 7, 1941, in Morgan, Utah. She was the firstborn of five children born to J. Berlin Osborn and Edna Renee Smith. She was always the boss of her siblings, even though she was the smallest at only four feet eleven inches tall.
Bernice was always happy and great fun to be around. She grew up in Escalante, Utah. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the church and held many callings.
Bernice married Kenny Goulding, and later they divorced. She had one child, Julie Kay Goulding. She then married George M. Jolley and was sealed in the St. George Temple.
She worked in Antimony, Utah, as a teacher's aide for years and then went back to school. She attended Southern Utah University and became a Teacher and principal of Antimony Elementary, working there until she retired. Bernice loved her students and helped many to excel.
Bernice passed away on March 11, 2026, in Cedar City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her Husband George, parents, and many close friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie Johnson, grandchildren, Travis, Justin, Dallis, and 10 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Milton Osborn, David (Roberta) Osborn, Kent (Donna) Osborn, and sister Jo (Mac) Barney. George's daughters, Gloria (Kirk), Lanita, Sharon, and Marlene (Dan), and many nieces and nephews.
Bernice was loved by many who knew her! She will be greatly missed until we meet again!

We loved Bernice as one of us. This photo was from our sister trip to St Louis/Nauvoo in1989
Bernice had a wonderful way of retelling childhood experiences.
