Ellen Scott

Ellen Scott Ellen J. Scott, 90, born in Independence, Missouri, Dec. 20, 1933, passed away peacefully in her home in Salina April 14, 2024. She was the daughter of Blanch Jarvis and George McLelland Lynch. She was preceded in death by daughter, Denise Smith. She is survived in death by her sons, Bradley and Jeffery Smith; grandchildren, Dawn Palmer, Harmony and Armando Osario, Brandie and Kris Robinson, Nicole Smith and Tony Silva, and Christopher and Corinna Smith; great-grandchildren, Marcus Palmer, Kylee Kriege, Collin Rasmussen, Michael Palmer and Kanani Manini, Austin Robinson, Kanyon Robinson, Alexis Osario, Andrew Osario, Haley Osario, Aubrey Smith, Hayden Osario, McKenzie Smith, Aspen Smith and Able Smith; and great-great-grandchildren: Aniyah Colvin, Kaiden Palmer, Leilani Palmer, Olivia Palmer, Niko Palmer, Nevaeh Palmer and Lilith Palmer. Ellen loved her animals; especially teaching and playing music, loved people cooking for her, especially Marcus and Michael. She also loved having company over to play games or to chat, etc. She had an uncanny way of winning every time. Her granddaughter, Brandie Robinson, would joke about taking her to Vegas. She adored Kanani. She never wanted her to leave and always asked when she would be back. She was sweet, funny, clever, witty and always said what was on her mind whether you liked it or not. Her family will miss her dearly. It was Ellen's wish to be cremated. Her family will have a celebration of life at a later date. Cremation will be in the Magleby Mortuary and Cremation Center.
