Carol L. Dickant, 84, of 29 Hillside Drive, Ridgway, died at Penn Highlands DuBois on Friday, July 2, 2021.

She was born in Ridgway on June 30, 1937, a daughter of the late Cleo and Enid Huckabone Callahan.

On November 24, 1956 she married John P. Dickant, who preceded he in death on June 4, 2018.

Carol was a lifelong resident of Ridgway, and was a member of St. Leo Church. She enjoyed being with her family and her dog Buffy. She also enjoyed playing cards and hosting family gatherings.

She is survived by four sons: Johnny Dickant of Ridgway, Jim Dickant of Greensburg, Joe Dickant and TIm Dickant of RIdgway, by one daughter, Deb ( Timothy)Aiello of Ridgway,and by twelve grandchildren; Dustin, Nick, Alex, Taylor, Amanda, Andy, Jean Marie, Crystal, Tonya, Jamie and James; 36 great grandchildren
and five great great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Huckabone of Illinois.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a great grandson, Nash Aiello; two brothers, Bill and Bob Callahan and a sister, Betty Wyrenth.

Funeral and Committal Services for Carol L. Dickant are being held privately and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Ridgway Ambulance Corporation.
