Elizabeth Ann King

1934 - 2026

Elizabeth Ann King, 91, of Pinecrest Manor, St. Marys, and formerly of Mill Street, Johnsonburg, passed away Tuesday evening, January 20, 2026, at Pinecrest Manor following a lengthy illness. She was born February 13, 1934, in Johnsonburg, a daughter to the late Alfred and Mabel Sellers Steudler. On September 4, 1954, in Johnsonburg, she married Marlin E. "Pooty" King. He preceded her in death on January 22, 1998.
A lifelong resident of Johnsonburg, Ann attended Johnsonburg High School. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Johnsonburg where she had been the Sunday School Superintendent for many years. Ann loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, going for walks and crafts of all kinds.
Ann is survived by a son Gene King of Jamestown, NY, grandchildren Melissa King, Jennifer Blose (Joshua) and Emily Geer (Bryan) and great-grandchildren Aerion, Gracie, Elijah, Cyrus and Addyline. She is also survived by a sister Marjorie Wortman of St. Marys and brothers Joe Steudler (Theresa) of Johnsonburg and Gary Steudler (Mary Ann) of Wilcox.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ann is predeceased by sons Joe and Kris King and a son in infancy, a granddaughter Phoebe King, brothers Richard, Al and Jim Steudler and sisters Joan Wilson and Marian Oknefski.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service for Elizabeth Ann King to be conducted at St. John's Lutheran Church, Johnsonburg, on Friday January 23, 2026, at 11 AM with Rev. Kevin Schafer, pastor as officiant. Interment will be in Wardvale Methodist Cemetery.
There will be visitation with family at the Church from 10 AM until service time at 11 AM on Friday morning.
Arrangements are under direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Johnsonburg.
