Harry Richards Obituary
Harry was born June 30, 1946 to the late Harry A. and Virginia E. Malone Richards in St Mary's, PA.
On August 9, 1969, Harry married his forever sweetheart Genevieve Lecker at St Mary's Catholic Church, spending 56 happy years together.
Harry is survived by his wife Jenny, daughter Renee Keune and husband Douglas of Spearfish, SD, son Jason Richards and his wife Tracy of Mineral Wells, TX. Grandchildren Payton (Edgard Munoz) and Camden Richards (Emma) of Mineral Wells, TX, Kylian and Ember Keune of Spearfish, SD, and great-grandsons McCoy Munoz of Mineral Wells, TX, and Dom Way of Cheyenne, WY. Brother Charlie (Debby) Richards of Ridgway, PA. Sisters-in-law Mildred Kraus of Weatherfield, CT, and Kathleen Lecker of St Marys, PA along with many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws Leo F. and Jane C. Lecker and brother-in-law Michael E. Lecker.
Harry was a fun and popular guy. If you were to have met him chances are you would have remembered him. Harry enjoyed many happy memories of family camping, hunting, fishing, and a mid life crisis of learning to scuba dive. He had a passion of woodworking, reloading ammunition and was an avid HAM radio operator. He worked for Motion Control for 28 years, a driver for ATA of North Central PA, and Product Assurance.
A Celebration of Life service will be planned in Pennsylvania the summer of 2026.
