June E. Hullihen

1937 - 2025

June E. Hullihen, 88, of 128 Comet Road, St. Marys, passed away peacefully Friday, November 7, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born July 27, 1937 in Ridgway, daughter of the late Carl and June Rose Carlquist Nelson. June was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Ridgway High School. She spent her working career at Pure Carbon until 1958 and then as a real estate broker at St. Marys Real Estate.
On August 17, 1957, in Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ridgway, June married the late Charles Edward Hullihen. The two of them were inseparable for the sixty-six years of marriage they shared until Chuck passed on December 12, 2023.
June is survived by her two daughters: Lori Hullihen Zimmett (Dale Wolfe) of St. Marys and Debbie Hullihen McDonnell (Martin) of Weedville; five grandchildren: Michael Dinsmore (Carli), Dustin Dinsmore, Eric Zimmett (Jamie), Sean Zimmett (Greta), and Bobbi Jo Erickson (Ian); nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Karen Newpher (Denny) of North Carolina.
Along with her husband, Chuck, June was an avid collector of antiques and found unique items to offer at the antique store that they owned. She, along with her husband, enjoyed family gatherings at the house in which they took great pride. She loved to go dancing with Chuck and spend time together maintaining the yard and garden.
There will be no visitation.
Funeral services for June will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home, 169 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 12:30PM with Pastor David Pfleiger, Hospice Chaplain, officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakmont Cemetery.
