Levi P. Donahue age 85 of Elbon Road (Elbon) Brockport, PA; died on Friday, October 31, 2025 at his residence. Born on August 6, 1940 in Luthersburg, PA; he was the son of the late Kenneth and Margaret Kupp Donahue. On July 25, 1964 he was married to Althea L. Gelinas and she preceded him in death on April 20, 2020. Retired, Levi started out a lifelong career at Clarion Sintered Metals beginning as a Die Setter, moving up to Production Supervisor and after working there for 45 years retired as the Head Repairman. Levi was a lifetime member of the Horton Twp. Volunteer Fire Department, where he also holds the title of Past Chief. He's a lifetime member of the Horton/Brockway Lions Club, member of Masonic Lodge #379 F&AM, and is a past Horton Twp. Supervisor. He also is past president of the Machinist and Aero Space Workers Union. Levi loved to collect wheat pennies, and then give them as gifts to his grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening in his younger years, taking trips to the casino and traveling with the Lions Club, writing poetry, spending time in the outdoors, as well as hunting and fishing. He is survived by a daughter Elaine (Charles Ethan) Smith of Elbon; a son Patrick (Stephanie) Donahue of Johnsonburg, PA; grandchildren: Stephanie Ann (Matthew) Stahlman, Elizabeth Donahue, twins Brandon and Travis Donahue, Patrick (Leah) Donahue, twins Andrew Smith and Autumn (Alan) Wolff, Owen Smith, Bruce Burdett, Damian Burdett and Clarence Russell. He is also survived by great grandchildren Aubrey and Levi Donahue, Mikayla and Hunter Stahlman, Warren Donahue and Thea Wolff. In addition to his parents and his wife he is also preceded in death by a son Donald Donahue, a daughter-in-law Christine Donahue and brothers Miles Donahue and Lawrence "Buckshot" Donahue. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 4 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor Ron Burkett officiating. Burial will be at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Ridgway. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Horton Twp. Volunteer Fire Department P.O. Box 17 Brockport, PA 15823. A Celebration of Levi's life will be held in the near future.
